TruShot^SM was founded and is currently headquartered in New Hope, PA. The idea of authenticating photos came about during a dinner conversation. A disgruntled online dating site member spent the whole evening complaining about other members putting old photos up in their profiles. This member was tired of meeting dates that looked a lot older and different than their photos. Unfortunately, there was no good way for honest trustworthy members to verify the photos they were looking at…Until now.

TruShot's Mission Statement

TruShot’s mission is to have TruShot certified photos on every member’s profile on every online dating site in the world. TruShot is determined to help users in the fight against invalid and outdated photos. The basic proposition of our business is simple, put your trust in TruShot…so others can trust you! When a user has a TruShot certified photo, other users will know exactly what that user looks like. Face-to-face meetings will no longer yield unpleasant surprises. TruShot Certification is where all internet users will go to confirm the creditability of a photo. In the near future, TruShot will implement solutions that will assist Insurance companies, Auto Rentals, Utilities, Child Safety and Auctions with photo authentification. TruShot will continue to work on software solutions that will help fight against fraud.
